Target Audience: Handlers just starting a puppy or dog in HRD as either a single purpose dog or adding HRD as a second discipline. No training prerequisites.
Topics: This 2.5 day workshop is a combination of classroom and hands on training. Classroom presentations will include; odor imprinting, HRD training methods andprogression, introducing distractions, canine learning, training plans, storing and maintaining sources, types of sources.
Hands on training will focus on; imprinting odor, scent line ups and final response drills, and handler mechanics and skills to set your dog up for successful training sessions.
Availability: Space is limited to 24 working spots. Unlimited auditor spots available.

Cost: Working Spot (1 dog only) $350, Auditor Spot $150
Meals: Lunches will be provided each day.
Hotels: A block of rooms will be held near the training site. Upon completing your registration, you will receive an email with hotel information so that you can reserve your room.
Prerequisites:
1. Dog must be at least 4 months old at the time of the workshop.
2. Dog must be current on core vaccinations per AAHA Core Vaccines: Rabies, and Combination vaccine (Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus, +/- Parainfluenza). Current titers also accepted. Information can be found at:
