The Center for Forensic Training and Education will be offering a unique training opportunity for HRD teams to spend two full days working through six unique full body scenarios. Teams from local, state and federal levels will experience scenarios designed to mimic recent Human Remains Detection deployments including; wide area, shoreline, vehicles, primary and secondary searches. At each station handlers will have the opportunity to practice their search strategy briefing skills with the group leader, work the scenario as a single blind or known exercise, and report their recommendations based on the results of their search.
This is not an instructional workshop. It is an advanced scenario training opportunity for Urban and Wilderness handlers to challenge themselves and their canines through exposure to real world, full body exercises designed to elevate their handling and search strategy skills.
